About Me!
I am a passionate software developer with a Bachelor of Computer Science from Laurentian University.
Ever since I was a kid, I have always loved to build things solve puzzles. From Lego, Knex and those finicky little metal puzzles you get on Christmas, all the way to analog circuit boards. Whenever there was a solution to find or a way to put my ideas out into the real world, I was always one step away.
My other lifelong passion, video games, eventually inspired me to take up coding with the dream of creating my own games that other people would play and love. After all, what better use of creativity and problem solving is software development? Over my programming career I developed an interest in web development as well and the rest is history.
My experience as a manager in customer service has given me an insightful perspective in making user experiences better, and how to communicate with a team of people in stressful situations. Making me an asset wherever I work.
I am forever looking for ways to improve my craft. New languages and technology, better coding practices and organization, and any criticism I can find. Anything that could make my work better is a boon.
